    ​​Rio Hondo CDC was organized in 2002 formed to:

  • Improve, preserve and expand the housing inventory in San Gabriel Valley that is decent and affordable to low and moderate income persons;
  • Combat community deterioration and promote the restoration of economic vitality to areas experiencing economic distress 
  • Developing homeownership opportunities for low-income families and   households through new construction and/or the acquisition and  rehabilitation of substandard structures.

​​Our mission at the Rio Hondo Community Development Corporation is to create, improve and preserve quality affordable housing and economic development opportunities for low and moderate income households in the Greater San Gabriel Valley.
